It's been another busy week as I've been preparing for the Stitch and Creative Craft Show at Sandown Park Exhibition Center this weekend as well as trying to fit in some filming. This show used to be a big machine knitting show (admittedly I am going back about 15 or 20 years) but during the 1990s it became more of a general craft show. The organizers are keen to encourage knitters back to the show and walking through the hall there where quite a few stands selling yarn and knitting related things. If you are visiting the show do come and see me at the Knitting Surgery, stand no. S4
As well as preparing for the show (and setting up today) I did do some filming this week of hand knitting techniques. I had a pattern and article published in the January issue of Knitting magazine about Patchwork Knitting so I took the opportunity to film the seam joining methods used in the article and pattern. It will be a few weeks before they are available to view on Knit1.tv so you will have to be a bit patient. Here's a picture of the garment from the magazine.
I'll try to take some photos of my stand and other stands at the show tomorrow and report back on knitting at the show.
