Valentine's Day Kittens

We’ve just had Valentines Day, as you may have noticed by the date. So here’s a bitter sweet tale for you that is more than topical. This Valentine’s Day, six tiny kittens were born at The Mayhew Animal Home in London, after their mother was found wandering off a busy street in North West London.

The mother cat –now named Valentine Love –gave birth to six healthy kittens on February 14th , much to the delight of staff at the Home. The kittens will be cared for at the Home until they are ready to be rehomed in mid-April. In keeping with the theme of love and romance, staff at The Mayhew have given each kitten a name meaning love in various languages:  Amour (French) Upendo (Swahili) Agapi (Greek) Amore (Italian) Liebe (German) Lyubov (Russian).
